"This painting is one of a pair I created while visiting a family cottage, on Lake of the Woods, in northern Ontario. The oak leaves and tree shadow make the beach stones part of a larger environment. The artwork becomes a diptych when paired with it's partner painting Leaves on the Beach I".
Leaves on the Beach II is an original watercolour painting, mounted on an archival panel with a UV-resistant and moisture-resistant coating, which protects the painting and allows it to be displayed without glass.
The archival panel is mounted in a black wood float frame. The image is 14h x 11"w and is painted on 100% rag watercolour paper. Framed size is 15.5"h x 12.5"w.
