A Foot in Cold Water, watercolour on panel, 18 x 24" NEW

"My camping trips to Lake Superior continue to inspire new work. This scene is inspired by underwater stones at Rainbow Falls Provincial Park on the north shore. I added the shoe at the bottom to bring a human presence into the scene and to give it a sense of scale. The title refers to the legendary chilly waters of Lake Superior, and is similar to A Foot in Coldwater, the name of a Canadian rock band from the 1970's."

A Foot in Cold Water is an original watercolour painting, mounted on an archival panel with a UV-resistant and moisture-resistant coating, which protects the painting and allows it to be displayed without glass.

The archival panel is mounted in a black wood float frame. The image is 18"h x 24"w and is painted on 100% rag watercolour paper. Framed size 20"h x 26"w.

A Foot in Cold Water is valued at $1750. and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
