Canada Rocks! #1, watercolour on panel, 6 x 12" (SOLD)
"This painting came from a daydream about the red pebbles I was using as reference for a stone circle painting. I imagined adding a red maple leaf to the scene, and that made me think of the Canadian flag. Then I thought of a light coloured object that could represent the white part of the flag. A weathered piece of lumber would work. Voila."
