"Irises are one of my favourite flowers to grow in my garden, and to paint. One day after a rain shower, a watery sun emerged to illuminate the drops of moisture on the petals."

Caught in the Rain is an original watercolour painting, mounted on an archival panel with a UV-resistant and moisture-resistant coating, which protects the painting and allows it to be displayed without glass.

The archival panel is mounted in a black wood float frame. The image is 15"h x 11"w and is painted on a larger (20 x 16") sheet of 100% rag watercolour paper, which allows for a 3" white border around the image. A fine, hand-painted line surrounds the image, giving the impression of double matting. Framed size 21.5"h x 17.5"w.

This painting is valued at $660. and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
