"About 20 years ago, I spent a weekend at a lodge on a cluster of tiny islands in Georgian Bay. While kayaking there, I was treated to my first up-close views of the iconic rock of that region of Ontario. The patterns in these smooth rock slabs and the windswept trees are an artist's dream to paint."
The Windy Shore is an original watercolour painting, mounted on an archival panel with a UV-resistant and moisture-resistant coating, which protects the painting and allows it to be displayed without glass. The archival panel is mounted in a black wood float frame. The image is 20"h x 16"w and is painted on 100% rag watercolour paper. Framed size 21"h x 17"w.
The Windy Shore is valued at $1,500. and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Currently this painting is available at Colborne Street Gallery in Fenelon Falls, Ontario.
