"When I painted this Lake Superior scene the first time, it was in an 8 x 8" format. I felt the scene deserved more emphasis so I painted this larger version, I think it captures the strength of rock and water, and the quiet majesty of trees and mist. The location is Coppermine Point, north of Sault Ste. Marie, ON. Places like this fill me up again."
