Floating in Silence, watercolour on panel, 5 x 5" NEW
“While exploring the shore of Mazinaw Lake, I saw this lone paddler drift along in his canoe. He seemed so relaxed as he enjoyed the peaceful waters as evening approached. I knew he would be the subject of an evocative painting."
Floating in Silence captures the peaceful refuge found in calm northern lakes, where the forest cloaks the shore and invites us to slow down and reconnect with nature. It is a small painting with a big sense of place and reminds us of the simple pleasures of time spent on the water.
This original 5 × 5 inch (13 × 13 cm) watercolour on panel is protected with a UV-resistant coating and presented in a simple, timeless style. While small enough to sit beautifully on a desk, table, or shelf, it also can be displayed on a wall, bringing a touch of Canadian wilderness to even the smallest space.
Floating in Silence is valued at $150. and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
