Killarney Dreamscape, painting by Karen Richardson

Killarney Dreamscape, watercolour on panel, 16 x 12" NEW

$1,250.00

"While exploring the shoreline of Georgian Bay near Killarney, Ontario, I came across this striking rock formation. I was captivated by its sculptural shapes, warm golden hues, and rugged beauty. For this painting, I re-imagined the scene from a viewpoint overlooking Fairy Lake near Huntsville, adding a white pine clinging to the granite outcrop. The result brings together two landscapes I love, capturing the sense of wonder and quiet awe I feel when surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Canada’s northern wilderness."

The warm tones of the weathered granite contrast beautifully with the deep blue waters and soft, drifting clouds, while the solitary white pine adds a touch of grace and resilience to this rugged scene. Killarney Dreamscape captures the timeless beauty of the Canadian Shield and the peaceful moments that make us feel deeply connected to nature.

This original 16 × 12 inch (40 × 30 cm) watercolour on panel is protected with a UV-resistant coating and presented in a classic black wood frame that complements the painting’s rich colours. The framed piece measures 17 × 13 inches (44 × 34 cm), making it a striking addition to a home, cottage, or nature-inspired space.

Killarney Dreamscape is valued at $1,250. and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
