“This painting brings together a few familiar treasures from our old family cottage on Big Cedar Lake in the Kawarthas. The two pine trees have appeared in many of my previous paintings, but this is the first time I've featured this well-loved canoe. Together, they evoke memories of quiet moments and countless adventures on the water."
