"This colourful maritime shed with peeling paint on the window frame makes me think of the craftsmen who built it long ago. When I saw the jelly bean house reflected in the window glass, I just had to paint this as a tribute to the hard-working folk of this region. You can tell by the distortion in the reflected image that the window glass is very old."

Reflections of Yesterday is an original watercolour painting, mounted on an archival panel with a UV-resistant and moisture-resistant coating, which protects the painting and allows it to be displayed without glass. The archival panel is mounted in a black wood float frame. The image is 12"h x 16"w and is painted on 100% rag watercolour paper. Framed size 13"h x 17"w.
