"The first time I saw this old white pine, missing its crown but still thriving, I knew it would make a dramatic painting subject. I also knew I would title the painting Thunderstruck, in homage to the famous song by rock band AC/DC. I added a bald eagle to complete the scene."
Thunderstruck is an original watercolour painting, mounted on an archival panel with a UV-resistant and moisture-resistant coating, which protects the painting and allows it to be displayed without glass. The archival panel is mounted in a black wood float frame. The image is 16"h x 16"w and is painted on 100% rag watercolour paper. Framed size 17"h x 17"w.
Thunderstruck is valued at $1150. and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Currently this painting is on display at Eclipse Art Gallery at Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, Ontario.
